Cairde Credit Union Community Initiative Fund 2025
At Cairde Credit Union, we’re proud to support the communities we serve. The Community Initiative Fund provides financial support for local groups, clubs, and organisations working on projects that make a lasting, positive impact. In 2025, we’re investing up to €100,000 to help strengthen our community through meaningful projects that reflect the Credit Union ethos.
Who Can Apply
Applications are welcome from:
Community groups, clubs, and voluntary organisations.
Schools, charities, and social or cultural initiatives.
Projects that are based within our Common Bond (Dungarvan, Tallow, Lismore, Cappoquin & Kilmacthomas).
Organisations must have been operating for at least 12 months prior to applying.
What We Support
The Community Initiative Fund aims to assist projects that:
Promote social, environmental, cultural or charitable development.
Enhance community wellbeing and local engagement.
Align with the values and ethos of Cairde Credit Union.
Funding is available for new or proposed projects — not for regular running costs or projects already completed.

Total Fund: €100,000
Funding available for up to 5 projects in 2025.
Successful applicants will be announced at our Community Awards Night.
