2026 PPN Awards Launch 🌟

Last Wednesday the 19th of August we attended the launch of the Waterford Public Participation awards in The Park Hotel in Dungarvan. Liam Brazil the mayor of Waterford officially launched the 2026 awards. 🌟

The PPN awards allow members of the community to nominate their local charity or volunteer organisation. The awards recognise the outstanding volunteer work that is done behind the scenes in communities across Waterford.

This year, Cairde Credit Union are proud to sponsor the age friendly category of the awards, this award recognises groups and organisations that have a positive impact on the lives of people aged 55 and over, helping to create a more age-friendly, inclusive, connected and supportive community.
